We're hiring!

Studio Coordinator

Full time. In office in East Nashville Monday through Thursday, remote Fridays

Starting at $55,000 - $60,000 / year

Job Details

This role keeps Studio Delger running.

You move client work through the studio, from the moment something is said on a call to the moment a final asset lands in a client's hands. You keep our project management system current and true, turn conversations into clear next steps, own the delivery details that make clients feel taken care of, and keep every creative deadline visible.

When this job is done well, nothing falls through the cracks. Every commitment is captured. Every deadline is visible. Every deliverable ships clean and on time. The creative team stays focused on creative work, leadership has an accurate picture of the studio at all times, and clients consistently feel informed, valued, and supported.

You'll start by learning how we work: our clients, our standards, our rhythms, and the systems we've built to run them. Those systems range from cutting edge use of AI to good, old fashioned methods like calling someone and actually having a conversation. You'll work closely with Nicole, our CEO, and support her on key accounts. As you make the work your own, you'll take on increasing ownership of client communication on select accounts, creative delivery, studio coordination, and project timelines.

We're looking for someone who wants to feel like an agency owner, who will improve the systems they inherit, and who takes pride in a studio that runs well because of them. There is room to grow in skills and responsibilities in this role.

About Studio Delger

We're a creative studio in Nashville, led by Nicole Delger (CEO) and Tim Delger (Executive Creative Director). We do graphic design, art, and branding work primarily focused on physical spaces and the built environment.

A few things that are true about working here:

We listen. Not just note-taking. Deep listening. From the first client conversation through final delivery, we listen for what's said, what's unsaid, and what the client wants but doesn't yet know how to name. Good work comes from hearing people fully.

We think deeply about our clients' challenges and goals. Thoughtfulness means solving the unspoken problems and anticipating the issues before they happen. We consider the challenge ahead of us carefully, deliver with purpose, and over-deliver whenever we can.

We protect focus. We work deeply, for long stretches, with distractions minimized. Part of this role is protecting that focus for the creative team.

We participate in life. Get off the computer. Visit the property. Go to the client's event. Go for a walk when you're stuck. Creativity is a lived experience.

We use AI seriously and carefully. Our workflows lean on AI for recaps, status updates, and task management, and we expect you to use them to support you, but with intention. We also expect you to read and verify everything before it leaves the studio. AI is a thought partner here, amplifying your natural intelligence. It is never a substitute for judgment and hard work.

You Are

A deep listener. You track what's being said, what's unsaid, and the mood in the room. You're more curious about other people than concerned with impressing them. You listen to understand, not to respond.

A master of tasks and details. You genuinely enjoy structure. To-do lists, deadlines, and follow-throughs are your happy place. Loose ends bother you. You notice what other people miss, and you don't need the spotlight to feel the win.

A sharp thinker with good instincts. You connect dots. You notice when a client's request doesn't match the scope, when two deadlines are quietly on a collision course, when an answer doesn't add up. You trust your gut, you know when to move fast and when to slow down and check in, and you have a well-tuned "something feels off" radar.

Service-oriented and proactive. "How can I be helpful today?" is your natural default. You don't wait to be told what to do, and no task is beneath you. Whether it's scheduling a social post or writing a thoughtful client recap, you roll up your sleeves. You also aren't afraid to ask for help when it matters.

A builder of systems, but still comfortable adapting. You document what you know instead of storing it in your head. But you also know everything is iterative. You aren't so rigid in your process that you can't pivot or adjust when the time comes.

Confident, warm, and easy. Smart, curious, hardworking, ambitious, and fun to be around. You bring good energy into the room. You want to work somewhere that feels relaxed and like family, and you help make it that way.

Trustworthy with sensitive things. Private matters like budgets, client dynamics, and internal conversations. You handle all of it with discretion.

What You'll Own

Delivery. Project setup, task lists, statuses, and deadlines in our project management software. Final asset prep, quality checks against spec, and clean handoffs to clients.

Capacity and focus. A rolling four-week view of the creative team's calendars and task lists, plus a month-by-month view so leadership can spot capacity questions well in advance. Freelance scheduling and briefing outside contractors when we need it.

The client experience. Meeting recaps with defined next steps, status updates on a set cadence, prompt and warm email responses, and feedback routed to the creative team without losing nuance.

The details that make people feel taken care of. Organized files, correct exports, nothing chased down twice.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 2 to 4 years in coordination, account management, project support, or studio operations. Agency or design studio experience is a plus, but adjacent fields count if you're comfortable with creative deliverables and clients. Though, we’re open to recent graduates with superb internship experiences, references, and work experience.

  • Demonstrated ownership of timelines and delivery across several projects running at once.

  • Strong writing. You can turn a messy conversation into a clear, warm recap.

  • Fluency with project management software and a willingness to become the studio's expert in ours.

  • Comfort with AI tools, or genuine eagerness to learn them fast.

  • You're looking for a place you can be a while, not a stepping stone elsewhere.

  • Bonus, not required: Adobe basics. You won't be designing, but if you can open a file, check it against specs, or resize an export, that's a gift to the team.
