Emblem Park
Auto Pop
Construction at Emblem Park was already well underway when the team at Somera Road asked us to create a brand and signage package for the property. Interior design was complete, with furnishings and finishes already selected, which meant our work needed to speak the same language as established architectural, interior, and landscape decisions, all while translating a playful energy and distinction into leasing materials and signage.
Historically, the site had been used for various industrial applications, including auto parts manufacturing. The undulating rooflines of the new buildings reference the repurposed metal shed structures on-site, while materials like perforated steel and industrial lighting reflect an interior design concept dubbed “Auto Pop.”
With a clear vision already in place, our role was to bring it all together through an identity and on-site signage system that matched the character and vibrancy of the project. We were engaged to develop updated branding, marketing assets, and environmental design, including building signage and wayfinding. Inspired by the character of a historic train shed, the architecture lends itself to an elevated industrial aesthetic.

The teal facade paint became the undeniable visual anchor of the building. The brand color palette draws from the play of light and shadow across the corrugated surfaces, pairing a dark and light tone that amplify each other against stark white.
The EP monogram suggests a tree, while the typeface is clean and modern with an industrial edge.
Perforated metal translates into a dot pattern, and a subtle “confetti” motif is derived from the angles of the roof pitches.
In the parking garage, oversized level indicators carry the typography and design language through the space, with each floor picking up a color from an interior accent wallpaper designed by New Hat.
